A philanthropist, Mr. Samuel Quansah Quarcoo and some members of the countryside Golf club last Friday, July 29 donated massively to Emmanus Methodist School Complex to help support the school administration to effectively support student learning.
The occasion was graced by the Local Manager of Emmanus Methodist School and the Superintendent Minister of Awoshie Circuit, Rev. Joseph E. Baidoo and the Deputy Director of Education, Madam Sandra Odei Acheampong were present at the occasion for the donation.
According to the philanthropist, he clearly stated that the donated item which includes; PA systems, Textbooks, Notebooks, Stationeries, Sanitizers Soaps, Shoes, School bags among others were given to Emmanus Methodist School Complex as he believes it will be a good aid for students as well as motivating them to study adequately to meet their future expectations. This was made known during his visit to the preservation event in Accra.
Besides the donation, the United States based philanthropist, Me. Quarcoo also believed in giving back to the society through charitable endeavors as he sees giving to the school will gradually impart values of compassion aside attaining educational objectives, ” I enjoy giving back to society especially to the less privileged since it makes me happy” – he reinstated.
Beneficiaries who received the donated gifts expressed their appreciation towards the massive support given to them and promised to use them as well as maintaining the gift given by the philanthropist. Other administrative bodies including Methodist Educational Regional Manager, Mrs Christiana Popeson, Awoshie Circuit Steward, Miss Abigail Gwira, Emmanus Methodist Church Society Steward, Rhoda Sanford among other Board Members also expressed their sincere gratitude to the philanthropist and his friends on embarking on such impactful deeds
